Chris DePalma, Corporate Director of Human Resources at DePalma Hotels & Resorts, has over 10 years of experience in Hospitality and Human Resources Management. Chris is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Human Resources department for the organization and has been instrumental in implementing human resource management strategies that enable DePalma Hotels to recruit, train and retain a high performing and motivated workforce.
Chris specializes in talent management, associate training and development, compensation and benefits, organizational culture, associate relations, safety programs and more.
He is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas. He is well rounded in all aspects of hotel management and excelled as a General Manager at several DePalma managed hotels earning a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) prior to transitioning into Human Resources in 2007.
